We are among the few organizations in the island who could start to organize basic Yoga & Ayurveda sessions through our volunteer members’ supports and public with lot of efforts and difficulty in the island without any financial support from the Government of Mauritius till date. | |

2012 | i) Successful training Courses in Yoga –Health, Nature-Awareness, Ayurveda and weekly classes at Hindu Maha Sabha Port Louis. ii) In April: Yoga Nature day celebration by planting Baobab tree in the yard of Mauritius museum in order to replace the 400 years old dead Baobab In August: Better empowerment training program through awareness of Yoga-Spirituality and good health. |
2013 | i) Successful Yoga Classes at Hindu Maha sabha Port Louis. ii) Herbal day celebration and weekend yoga camp at Grand- bay,Friday 9 July to 10 July iii) Guduchi (Tinosporia cordiforlia) plants were planted and distributed all over Mauritius at Pamplemousses garden, port Louis Municipal garden, socio cultural centers etc Organizing various meetings with yoga teachers, associations, Ayurvedic doctors, Naturopath, Reiki-holistic healers, herbal plants enthusiasts and other stakeholders of Yoga –Ayurveda like Medical spa, tourism, Massage, beauty parlors etc and trying to bring them under one apex umbrella organization =Natural council. |
2014 | i) Successful Yoga-Health training and Herbal plants distribution ii) Organize small Ayurveda & Yoga health program at various villages like Rose Belle ,Grand-Bay, Goodlands, L’esperance Trebuchet, Cap Malheureux, Sottise, Plaine des papayes, Fond du Sac, Rose Hill, Petit Raffray, and Triolet where people took pledge to practice Ayurveda & Yoga as their first modality of treatment whenever ill. Around 620 people were sensitized. iii) 2 talks on National Radio on Ayurveda & Health were done. iv) 3 TV Bhojpuri programmes on 1) Satvic Ahara & Surya Namaskara 2) Madhumeha (DM) Ayurvedic & Yoga management 3) Kahain Jataba Hamni ke Samaj. v) 2 live direct Morning shows on Ayurveda & Yoga Health wellness were done Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation limited. vi) 4 News media coverage were done on public health through holistic medicine vii) A road March on Yoga & Ayurveda awareness was done at Triolet village in patrol of the Mauritius police. |
2015 | i) Feb : Cap malheureux Awareness training ,Around 20 people present ii) Feb 2nd : Awareness talk at Fond du sac at Sai Centre 80+ people were present iii) March 31st: Ayurveda & Yoga awareness at Fond du sac village.150+ people were present. iv) June: A Yoga demonstration at IGCIC, Phoenix with Indian High Commission in context of International Yoga day 100+ people were present. |
2016 | i) March : Goodlands village : Ayurveda & Yoga awareness in health promotion. Around 150 people were present. ii) June : Yoga in daily life presentation at IGCIC, Phoenix with Indian High Commission in context of International Yoga day iii) June,18 : Riviere du Rempart village :Yoga awareness in context of International Yoga day. Around 140 people were present. |
2017 | i) March : AYUSH promotion training at New-Delhi with Government of India, Ministry of AYUSH ii) May :Ayurveda & Yoga awareness at I.G.C.I.C, Phoenix with Indian High Commission in context of International Yoga day. Around 40 people were present iii) May : Ayurveda & Yoga health awareness banner publicity from North (Grand-baie village ) to South (SSR International Airport) on the National Highway of Mauritius.450000+ travelling public must have seen. iv) June :Chemin Grenier village :Ayurveda & Yoga health awareness. Around 80 people were present v) June :Triolet village :Yoga awareness in context of International Yoga day. Around 70 people were present. vi) June : Goodlands village :Yoga awareness in context of International Yoga day. Around 75 people were present. |
